Transformation through creativity

Have you ever walked down the self-help aisle at Barnes and Noble? It feels like eating vegetables. You know that buying some book like “How to Get Rich Without All My Hair Falling Out From Stress,” would be good for you. But even staring down the barrel at 300 pages of “let’s talk about feelings” doesn’t really motivate you to get past chapter 2.

But what if you could transform your life and have fun at the same time?

Let me adjust my hot nerd glasses while I tell you that recent studies show that it’s easier for your brain to build new neural connections when the activities you do are fun, creative, and engaging.*

I love helping people transform by using…

  • Art

  • Songwriting

  • Design

  • Etc…

If an activity is fun to you, let’s harness it for positive change. Why? Because it works.

Now for a quick science break: When people perform actions that engage and interest them, they create what’s called a flow-state.

This changes brain waves from high-beta (stress, analytical, active thinking), to alpha (calm, focus), then to theta (learning, creation, intuition), and sometimes even to gamma (integration). Which means you can wire your brain for confidence and success much easier by doing things you love, things that get you into flow.

But if we’re having fun, are we still gonna do the important stuff like:

  • Pinpoint how your energy is being spent

  • Design an ideal future

  • Breakdown the physics of how and why advancement seems so frustrating

  • Create a detailed map how to get from today to tomorrow

  • Dissolve the blocks in the way of progress

Uh, heck yeah!

But if you’d rather categorize your ideal self by what Harry Potter house you belong in, or write Swiftie-inspired song lyrics to process the blocks that are keeping you from feeling powerful in your life. Why not?
